Wiatava Lodge sponsors the Cub Country program for Orange County Council. Cub Country is a day where all the new cubs and their friends can come out to our local camps to see what we have to offer. It is a chance for you to help those new Cubs and their friends that may want to join Scouting on what Scouting is all about. Your help is needed or this program will not be a success. Even if you can help for a short period of time please let us know. It will be a Class "A" Field Uniform with sash event. Please sign up

Good afternoon Santee Chapter
This is your chief here announcing that PowWow is still open to sign ups and that Conclave is coming sooner than you think.

PowWow is the Order of the Arrow version of Camporee on steroids, where our chapter (Santee) competes against other chapters within our lodge in categories such as sports, ceremonies, shooting sports, camping promotions, and the ability to vote on the members of the Lodge board. PowWow this year is August 25-27 at Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley.

If you have any questions please email the Vice Chief of Activities at

Conclave is nearly the same thing except the whole Orange County Council (Wiatava Lodge) comes together to compete against other councils around Southern California.
We have not conducted a Regional Conclave for many years. Come and enjoy fellowship with 9 Council Lodges from around Orange and LA Counties.
Enjoy Sports, Shows, Patch Trading, Indian Affairs and Camp Promotion Activities.
Take classes to learn more about different subjects related to the Order of the Arrow.
This year’s theme is Kaikua’ana, which is Hawaiian for Brotherhood.

Below are the links to register for both. The prices for PowWow are $30 for you new ordeal members and $35 for other members. The price for Conclave is $55. PowWow sign ups are due by this Sunday.
