Hello fellow OA members, here are some of the future service projects that we will be working on:

Naval Base Memorial Day Ceremony: This is a two day event on 5/23 and 5/25. It is at the World War II National Submarine Memorial 800 Seal Beach Blvd Seal Beach, CA 90740. On the 23rd at 9:00 AM we will be clearing debris and polishing all the brass in the area. We will be getting dirty so bring a "class B" uniform. We may also be planting fresh flowers. This should all be completed around 2:00. Then on Memorial day (5/25) we will be setting up and taking down the event. arrival time is as 9:00 AM. This is a day honoring those who gave their lives protecting their fellow citizens of the United States of America and therefore all Scouts need to be in Full Uniform. This day chairs will be set up and general assistance with last minute items to be done. Additionally, there will be a need to clean up and take down the Tarps on the fence after the Memorial Day Ceremonies are concluded. The clean up should be done some time in the early afternoon. I hope everyone can make it.

Relay for Life: On June 6th and 7th, in Costa Mesa from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This is a 24 hour walk. It is at Davis Field, 1050 Arlington Drive, Costa Mesa, 92626.

Arrow Tour: On July 18, from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, at Oak Canyon Park, 5305 Santiago Canyon Drive, Silverado, CA 92676. The Arrow Tour is a mobile exhibit celebrating the 100th anniversary for the Order of the Arrow. We only need around four volunteers for this event, but the same volunteers have to be there for both set up and clean up.

Special Olympics: We will be cheering on the athletes for the less popular teams. More info to come.

Oral Cancer Run/Walk: Helping out for the race. More info to come.

Scouting for Food: Collection day for scouting for food is November 14.

If you are able to help with any of these events, please email me to let me know. Hope that you can all come to of these events!
